Financial crisis impact over structural changes in the fertility factors

This paper analyze, empiricaly, the structural changes in the factors that have incidence on Mexican fecundity, as consequence of the financial crises for the period 1962-2017. Also, indentify if the political transition of the government in 2000 had impact on the fecundity. An econometric model was used to derminate the factors that have impact on fecundity. In addition, was used the Chow test to estimate structural changes on the time series of data. The results suggested that national economic crises after 1976 have incidence in the fecundity rate in Mexico besides to change parametrically the structure of the data.
