Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the impact that the Khan Academy educational platform has on the academic performance of two groups of students studying Business Economics and Actuarial Studies at the Autonomous University of Querétaro. An experimental and comparative analysis is carried out between those students who use the platform and those who do not, evaluating it through descriptive statistical techniques (surveys and differential calculus tests), and inferential techniques (hypothesis tests), in order to determine if the Access to this platform influences their academic performance. The population studied, the use of the platform, the influence of the classes they take and the grade average are analyzed. It is expected to obtain relevant information that will allow us to learn more about the scope and limits of Khan Academy.
