In the face of Covid-19 in Mexico, it is important to consolidate a budget with a gender perspective

For this XXI century the importance of gender has grown in different areas from the economic, political, cultural, social and not only on a national scale, but also on a global level. Faced with this growth, it is reflected in gender violence. With this Covid-19 pandemic, the asymmetries between men and women and also violence are exacerbated. Within the Mexican economy, a tool that the State has the Budget and can be given guidance with a gender perspective to try to reduce the asymmetries between men and women and equal opportunities.
In 2022, the budget with a gender perspective will have an increase in scholarships at the upper and upper secondary level and programs for older adults. It is a beginning, but it lacks more social inclusion for equal opportunities and reduction of violence against women.
