The increase in unemployment as a consequence of the covid-19 pandemic in Mexico

Abstract

This work focuses on studying and analyzing through statistical information,
such as the pandemic and the confinement generated by the COVID-19 virus
affected job unemployment, the economically active population and the behavior of the labor market in the face of the pandemic in Mexico, taking into account indicators provided by INEGI and ENOE. There is also a brief account of the response by the federal government and economic support measures in Mexican families.
