Abstract

This article raises the problem generated by statistical biases in society, as well as the discordant relationships between the social economy and economic variables such as inflation and unemployment in Mexico, in the period of the current administration (2018-2023). The Phillips curve is used as a theoretical framework that allows analyzing the validity of the proposed model in moments where economic policy required and justified said intervention. We look for whether there is presence of statistical causality in the mentioned variables.
