The creative and cultural industry as a detonating for the handcrafted sector in Mexico

This research seeks to analyze the interaction between the creative and cultural industry with the artisan sector in Mexico. Using statistical information for the period 2008-2019, an econometric model was estimated using the ordinary least squares criterion, by estimating the model, it is concluded that in effect the CCI through the gross value of production, the gross value added of the ICC itself and the number of paid jobs for handicrafts in tourism have a significant relevance on the level of activity in the handicraft sector.
