Commercial excellence as a strategy organic growth in the industry private chemistry in Mexico

Some of the greatest challenges facing the private chemical industry in Mexico are: increased competition due to the lack of major innovations and acceleration of globalization, pressure to maintain and increase profitability, and lower customer loyalty. Some strategies in order to generate organic growth that are used to face these challenges are focused on increasing the efficiency of production plants through operational improvements, mainly in the hands of Operational Excellence. Since chemical processes have been progressively transformed through the combination of advanced production and operations techniques with intelligent technologies, the potential for improving manufacturing performance is minimal and this model, being highly generalized today, does not create a ifferentiation between companies in the sector. Due to this, some corporations, in order to improve their financial results, have ventured to develop new strategies such as Commercial Excellence. Whether this new set of tools, which has the purpose of optimizing commercial activities, originates organic growth in the private chemical industry in Mexico is the central question addressed in this work.
